"This was absolutely our favorite place in Bacharach! Enjoyed a couple nice BIG glasses of cold Riesling after a hike to the Burg Stahleck. Very laid back, unpretentious, wonderful quiet alley to spend time learning about the local white German wines of the region!!"

"My wife and I had a fantastic time. We stayed for a few hours, ordered a couple of wine paddles and a variety of food. The staff was very helpful offering advice on food and wine choices and engaging in small talk. The outdoor seating was cosy and that atmosphere and alcohol encourages you to engage with the people around you."

"So many delicious wine choices to try! You can sample your own picks or order one of the sampling options (you get 8 different regional wines - either a dry, or semi dry selection). After all this 'sampling' we also had their flamkuchen which was perfect to pair with the wine, very filling and delicious. Super nice and friendly service!"

"Lovely little place to try some local wine. Their flights are so nicely sized and they come with a little explanation of the vintage and differences. We tried the semi-dry carousel and loved all of them. Left with a few bottles of their sweeter wines. The food was also excellent. I had the lentil soup, which was their only vegan option. Patrick was a great server and fun to chat with. Definitely worth a stop."

"We were so confused when we walked in the front door. The server guided us to a cute little outdoor patio though, and found us an English menu. We had a choice of 5 sampler flights - we both chose the mixed dry and sweet. And of course, I had to try the wine soup - I'd never heard of such a thing (7,5 EU. The table filled up, so my husband invited a couple who couldnt find seating to join us. They ended up being so interesting and funny. The whole afternoon was a treat. Good weather, beautiful setting, interesting fellow diners and a pretty low price. (16EU for 6, 3oz samples Plus 7,5 for the soup and 7 for my husband's apple crumble)."
